Dear Reader,
Social commitment has always been one of the foremost things in the
life of GLOBO21.
We
are in the sunny times of our lives, success has been achieved, we
look at what we have accomplished up to now in our lives and we feel
proud.
We
have supported numerous projects. But then comes the moment when one
asks oneself if it isn’t the time to create something lasting. On
the one hand to help other people and on the other in order to give
thanks and show our respect for our Majorcan hosts.
For
this reason our legal department is going to create the GLOBO21
Foundation.
This
foundation was born with the idea of helping children affected by
cancer in Majorca, as well as helping with cancer research.
One
of the projects will be the association ASPANOB (Association of
parents of children with cancer) in Majorca – an institution to help
children with cancer.
The
association will have a reunion hall available for the children and
their parents. The association will also have the use of a house in
front of Son Dureta hospital, where the parents of the children can
stay if they are travelling from other islands or other places on
the island, so they can stay close to their children during their
time in hospital.
Apart
from many private collaborators, who all pledge their support, there
is a psychologist available for the children and their parents.
Help
with their studies, excursions and other activities are some of the
other things that are organised.
This
project, which profoundly affects us, will have our unconditional
support.
