The judges rejected the company's request to lift the temporary closure due to construction defects.
The Palma District Court rejected the provisional reopening of the Grand Disco BCM in Magaluf, Mallorca. They therefore decided against a corresponding demand from the operators of the company belonging to the Cursach Group. The discotheque had been provisionally closed due to missing permits for the installation of a large air conditioning system. The town hall in Calvià ordered the closing of the mega-disco at the beginning of April. The decision had been taken in the context of a revision of licenses. It turned out that there was not sufficient approval for parts of the building such as cooling plants.
