Corpse found in Cala Pi in the South-West of Mallorca

An autopsy showed traces of beating and strangulation on the body

The body of a dead man found on a Monday-afternoon (29/10) in South Mallorca was probably a victim of murder. As the autopsy showed, his body illustrated marks caused by punches and strangling. The body was found by a mushroom collector, behind a wall by the road to Cap Blanc (Ma-6014).

Apparently the man's dead body has been lying there for several days, including in the rain. At first the brutal attack marks weren´t visible, so the investigators first thought he died due to natural reasons.

Some unconfirmed information showed that the murder victim was a 49 year old Romanian citizen. The authorities think that the victim was murdered at another place. Further investigations are following.
